1. 🛒 Marketplace Overview

  • BookSwap Bazaar is a locally-based, user-driven platform for buying and selling pre-owned books, electronics, kitchen appliances, furniture, and other approved items.
  • All transactions are conducted directly between buyers and sellers, including payment, communication, and delivery coordination.
  • The platform does not take part in negotiations or guarantee the condition of listed items beyond what is stated by the seller.

2. 💳 Payments & Checkout

  • Buyers and sellers are free to agree on any payment method during the meetup (cash, bank transfer, or other mutually accepted methods).
  • Payments are made directly between buyer and seller—the platform does not process or hold funds.
  • Buyers should only make payment after inspecting the item and confirming it matches the description.
  • The platform is not responsible for disputes regarding payment or refunds once a transaction is completed.

3. 🚚 Shipping & Delivery

  • Delivery is not managed by BookSwap Bazaar.
  • Buyers and sellers are expected to coordinate directly for meetups or delivery arrangements.
  • The platform is not liable for late arrivals, delivery issues, or disputes over delivery arrangements.

4. 🧍 Buyer Responsibilities

  • Inspect the item carefully before paying.
  • If the item is not as described, buyers may cancel the order during the meetup before payment is completed.
  • Keep communication polite, safe, and respectful at all times.
  • Guest checkout users may have limited access to order history and tracking features.

5. 📦 Seller Responsibilities

  • Provide honest and clear listings, with accurate descriptions and photos.
  • Disclose any defects or missing parts before listing.
  • Respect the buyer’s decision to cancel the order if the item is not as described upon inspection.
  • Ensure all meetups and communication are conducted safely and respectfully.

6. 🚫 Prohibited Activities

You may not use the platform to:

  • Sell illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited goods under Georgian law.
  • Misrepresent the item’s condition or ownership.
  • Engage in harassment, fraud, or scams.
  • Circumvent the platform for off-site deals that violate our guidelines.

7. 🔑 User Accounts

  • Creating an account allows access to features like order tracking, confirmations, and cancellations.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • You must be 18 years or older or have parental/guardian consent to create an account.

8. 📜 Liability Disclaimer

  • BookSwap Bazaar is a listing and coordination platform only.
  • We are not liable for any loss, theft, miscommunication, or failed transactions between users.
  • Use of the platform is entirely at your own risk.
